Electro House remix of this #1 Billboard Disco hit.
When I was given the vocal stems for this in Dec 2010 and asked to do a remix, I wasn't very interested. It was at #19 on the Billboard chart sure... But I wasn't really digging its campy, oldschool, disco diva groove. It had to be destroyed. Or at least become something totally different, in both style and sensibility, from the original track. I made it gritty instead of cheesy, mean instead of sexy and modern instead of ancient.
After sending back my remix, the reply was that it needed more of the original vocal in it... Well what do you expect?
Twist of Love finally did hit #1 briefly... How? No clue...
I found this while cleaning up my computer. enjoy.
